An Indian billionaire has recently acquired Bordeaux’s major soccer clubs with the aim of merging them into one single entity. Consequently, Metropolis FC currently emerges as the sole club of the city, only retaining élite soccer players while leaving many others on the sidelines.

Adrien, coach of the under-15s at Metropolis FC, views this merger unfavourably. In response, he forms Team Z, an unlikely squad made of overlooked players. His goal is to build and train a team capable of challenging the best players from Metropolis within a few weeks.

In this setting, Hugo, a talented yet shy teenager, crosses paths with the skilled Majid. Despite competing for a spot in the team, they will have to learn to team up and redefine their understanding of soccer to secure their place in the new group destined to become Z United!
