What happens when a legendary artifact, an AI heroine, and the power of immersive storytelling collide? You get Les Fragments Perdus de Soissons, a transmedia experience born from the synergy of Flibusk and MAKMA, and brought to life with the support of the city of Soissons, Ikoï Studio, and Moklay.
From late-night arrival to early morning impact
« Sébastien and I arrived last night at 11:21 PM in Soissons, » recalls Stephan Boschat, co-founder of Flibusk. « We were supposed to get there by 9 PM, but we missed our train. So it turned into a fun little adventure — hopping from train to bus, and finally reaching our destination two hours later. » Sébastien Cotte is the co-founder of Ikoi Studio, our creative partner for this project.
The duo was welcomed by Stéphane Jomotte, Soisson’s Deputy Head of the Education and Youth Department, who helped them settle in before a big day of meetings and public engagement.
« This morning, we met local officials and residents — including a great exchange with the mayor, who was particularly responsive to our message about culture and youth, » continues Stephan. « We even received our very first resin statuette of Mia, crafted by the company Lumi! »

Storytelling through digital immersion
Flibusk, known for building 360° IP strategies, handled the concept and transmedia structure of the project. MAKMA brought its creative firepower to the table, producing the webtoon’s visuals and story.
We asked Christophe Moulinier from MAKMA to pitch the story in his own words.
« The story is called Les Protecteurs des Neuf: Les Fragments Perdus de Soissons, » explains Christophe. « In a future where daylight has vanished and Terranova rules through cultural erasure, a resistance group — the Protectors of the Nine — fights to restore the world’s lost memory. Among them is Mia, a young AI, who finds a clue about the legendary Vase of Soissons. Guided by the hologram of Resistance icon Raymonde Fiolet, she explores a deserted city, uncovers fragments of the past, and rekindles forgotten truths. But as she nears her goal, » he concludes, « an ancient threat awakens… determined to keep history buried. »
Digital platform and physical exploration
The webtoon is available exclusively on Webtoon Planet, a platform developed by Moklay, while the city of Soissons becomes a real-world playground thanks to the Nova OS app.
Visitors can scan a QR code to download the game and the webtoon, then embark on an augmented reality mission in the style of Pokémon Go, collecting fragments and restoring memory — all while walking through the historic heart of Soissons.
This seamless blend of story, heritage and interactive gameplay makes Les Fragments Perdus de Soissons a powerful new model for cultural storytelling.
What if your city’s history was the next adventure?
